I don't know what week it is
The weeks continue to fly by here in Orlando. Last weekend I made my first trip back home to Louisiana to see my fiance and family for the weekend, and while I thought that since I had been gone for a long time being home would feel different, I ended up feeling more at home back in Baton Rouge than Orlando. Guess that means I'm ready to come back home and kick off our final year at LSU. Work here has gone from 0 to 100 and now back to 0. In preparation for the big SeaTrade Cruseline Convention, PBD was pushed to the limit in terms of our work capacity and stress levels. I'm glad I knew how to render things in Photoshop or else I would have been absolutley left in the dust. But we were able to produce the products needed by the client in time, and our renderings got alot of attention at SeaTrade. With things slowing down a bit this past week, I took some time to start looking at the architecture that PBD usually specs for projects, like British West Indies style for our projects in the Bahamas. Its been pretty interesting, and while I still prefer landscape architecture to regular architecture, I've learned that its pretty useful to know the basics of architecture in order to communicate with project architects and create a cohesive theme throughout a project. Apart from that, I just been painting, playing dungeons and dragons, and playing volleyball. Same ole stuff. Some things never change.
