Growing a small beard - Daniel Metzger

Have not been in love with work lately, but I get to go on a site visit soon which I hope will be fun. There is not as much to complain about as I would like to believe. I am a very awkward water-cooler conversation person. I have a project working on a wine vineyard called Pedernales Cellars, and some other residential projects, mostly. Workflow is still mostly the same, but I have been sketching more. I would like to be in photoshop but have not had the opportunity yet.
I am quite frankly counting down the months, as one does incessantly towards their own death, so I try not to. There are just a lot of things I am excited about when I get back to Baton Rouge. I will miss all the nice hikes around Austin though.

Last week was great. My friend Ching-yu came to see me, and we did lots of fun stuff, including a hike at Pedernales Falls state park. It was so beautiful. We relaxed and also played beach Olympics, competing in stone-throws and "no-limbs" relay races. Perhaps the most wholesome weekend I have had in a long time.

Frustrated with car radiator troubles, but more frustrated with the structure of a 9-5 job. I hate how you must take off a day of work if you want to participate in any service, like a mechanic, dentist, etc.

Can you spot the wild crawfish in this image? Probably not, but it is there in the middle left.

Some actually cool nature graffiti I found
