Day by day; sometimes hour by hour

Last week a new project was dropped on my desk. Alico road, a project previously mentioned, has to have a marsh/filter area landscaped. A project manger in the transportation department asked me to landscape it in Land F/X. I spent two days doing designs on paper and getting feedback from my boss. On Tuesday, a project manger from the utilities department asked me to landscape a 30' buffer for a sewer plant that is just north of the filter marsh. So, I worked on both projects. I had to look up the codes to see how many shrubs and trees were required for the buffer. I thought I finished the project and my boss and I went up stairs to show the utilities project manger the design, but we were some 500 shrubs short and he wanted me to also design a buffer along the west side of the sewer plant. It was 4 when I got back to my desk and I knew I was going to have to work over the weekend. I was quite put off at first, but I held it together till I got to my apt. I was just starting to cry and my dad called me. I explained everything to him and he told me that it would be the first time since I started that I would have to work over the weekend. You already know that knowing I had work to hanging over my head made me go in early on Saturday and knockout the work out. This allowed to truly enjoy my weekend. I was relieved to see some other cad techs in on Saturday morning. It took me over four hours to complete, but I got if finished. Oh, I never told yall what the designs were for. They are JEI to send to another company to render the whole street, filter area, and sewer plant.

My birthday was on Wednesday and my work forgot. Usually the landscape and planning departments go out for birthdays and everybody in the departments signs a card. Nothing for my birthday. We had a lunch and learn. I went on a site visit with boss in the morning. That is enough sad stuff.

On a positive note, my parents and sister are coming to visit me for Easter, this coming weekend. I am so excited to see them and hug them. I do not remember the last time I had physical contact with another person.

I went to a local wing restaurant for the women's basketball championship. How about them tigers!! It is ring season.

Miss seeing, and talking with yall greatly.
