April already??? - Julia

I love my job. Some days I can't believe I get paid to be here. I was really struggling last semester with leaving or staying in Baton Rouge because most all of our teachers really pushed us to move away but I am very thankful I listened to myself and stayed and took this job. I feel for anyone who is struggling with their work and being far away from home, it'll all be over soon enough. Also I would just like to point out that I haven't had to stand up once in front of people and present something, its only ever been a conversation never a presentation, so RRSLA stop telling me it's important to practice it every month. It's very clear that our teachers try to mold us to be and to work one way when there are thousands of routes we can take with this major. Also I emailed several people about advising and not one of them answered, I'm glad they are thinking about us! I very much do not look forward to having to go back to that dreadful place. Anyways, I'll stop complaining, here's some pics of what I've been up to:

The Fontainebleau entry station which is about to be redone
NOLA art museum sculpture garden, we have so many good examples of LA in Louisiana and no one ever talks about it, weird.
