Week 6 & 7 (i think) - Taylor

The last two weeks have been pretty fun with some exciting new experiences. Our lead designer completed the design for a new culture patio that will be installed right outside our office for a place to take breaks, eat lunch, or gatherings. I was asked to do a 3D rendering for the project which was pretty interesting since I had not touched Lumion since the Scotlandville project. My rendered images were shown to the company as their "first look" of the culture patio, which was cool. The rest of week 6 was filled with measuring, client meetings, and creating bases.

For the first two days of Week 7 Mullin held a company retreat at Covey Rise Lodge above Covington on the northshore. The retreat was amazing and the place was beautiful! We were treated to great food and had a surprise visit from Griddy (the guy who created the griddy dance that football players do.) The purpose of the retreat was team building and leadership so there were hired speakers and activities to follow that theme that were great! Mullin's 2023 theme is "Back to Basics."

Yesterday I attended the College of Art and Design Career Fair at LSU with our HR/Recruiter which was a long day, but nice to see some familiar faces and LSU's beautiful live oaks on campus again :) Being on the other side of the interview table was definitely weird though. Today I am trying to finish up some bases and a front yard design before the weekend.

Happy Friday! :))))))
