Week 11 @ CARBO

Hi, Happy (early) St. Patrick's Day :)

The last two/three weeks feel like they're just dragging... Anywayss, I helped make a base for two projects that are getting started. Putting together one of these base maps entailed calling the company that made the survey for their CAD files which felt really professional, and I enjoyed the added trust/responsibility for a second.

I made another precedent imagery board for waterfront spaces/streetscape on the bayou in Houma which I believe got presented today. I also got asked to quickly make a graphic for this presentation just by pulling some pieces that a coworker had already created. This was a new type of task for me as I really haven't made any graphics yet this internship, but hopefully Ill be able to do more of that soon.

We have still been pushing the pocket park in Lafayette. I started putting together a 3D model of the concept they chose, and running into some issues with the concept, created another variation of it which we presented to the client over zoom but she preferred the original idea so we were sent back to the drawing board a bit. I'm excited to put it into Lumion :)

Oh also, I was brought onto a project on LSU where they're replacing all of the light poles from the Law Building to past the bookstore. For this I pretty much will just take meeting notes on site every Monday; its cool to be included and on campus again.

-- Does anyone else put in work for a project and then get disappointed when you aren't asked to go to the presentation/meeting? Idk I guess its a learning curve, it just kind of feels weird.
