ojb houston 4 - moving right along
oh brother.
Over the past two weeks I've been doing a few smaller projects. I finished up the planting template, all 150 plants are now in InDesign and Excel. The next steps are to copy the information into a LandFX library with accurate caliper and canopy dimensions for the gallon sizes of each plant. Other than that, I've been training in Vectorworks. It's not my favorite, its a little clunky and the shortcuts don't make a lot of sense. I also made two diagrams for some award applications for Levy Park. I don't know if I can post those, but I'm going to anyway.
Feels weird posting regularly and keeping track of everything that is happening. Big news, a uhh, coworker... and former peer at lsu... is no longer working here, so its been weird adjusting to work life without my friend around (text for the scoop). In other (slightly related, iykyk) news, I'm going to LABASH in two weeks. OJB is going to fly me out so I don't have to pay for my trip, which I'm thankful for.
My work friends and I went to the zoo this past weekend. I had a good time walking through Hermann Park and checking out the landscapes and the animals. I was pretty stoked to go since I first learned about landscape at the zoo back home in New Orleans. After the zoo, we went to Midtown Park (not an ojb project, I'm cheating!)
I read yours at least :)
