Moving Into Fort Myers

GETTING SETTLED IN

My dad and I drove to Fort Myers, FL on Wednesday the 14th. The drive is 11+ hours. On the way we stopped at Buc-ee's in Alabama.
On Thursday we drove the 2 hour drive to Miami, FL. In Miami we went to IKEA, a Swedish furniture company. After spending 3 hours looking at the furniture, we checked out with the boxes to assemble a table, two night stands, a queen bed, and a dresser. The furniture comes in boxes that you get on the first floor warehouse of IKEA. The dresser was a special item. So, an employee of IKEA to had to get the boxes for the dresser from the back. When we got back to my appartement, after driving two hours back, I noticed that they only gave us boxes 1-3 of 4. IKEA did not give us box 4 of 4 to assemble the dresser. My dad called IKEA and they are going to ship the box to me.
Friday we assembled the table. I used the table to sign some onboarding paper work for my employer. At 1 I had an appointment with a bank to set up an account. The bank I currently use does not have a branch in Fort Myers. The nearest branch is near Tampa, which is 2 hours away. After getting set up at the bank, I went to my employer to drop off the paper work. After that my dad and I went to Ford Garage. Attached is a picture of the burger my dad ordered. When my dad and I had substance in our stomachs, we went back to my appartement to assemble my bed. The bed took 3 and 1/2 hours to put together.
Finally on Saturday my dad and I drove back to Baton Rouge. Once again we stopped at Buc-ee's. We got back very late Saturday night.
That brings y'all to up speed on what has happened since Finals Week. Come back in a few weeks to see what is new with me.
